Quote: Sir Phoenix "Not losing to hkr,

The thing that has most wound me up is the sheer hatred on this forum .
Fair enough we aren't playing well, we are lacking ideas on attack but when all said and done we are 2 points off second and have lost the same number of games as the current champions. We have hopefully 2 players to come in who both offer attributes we are short of at the moment and the probability that if one or the other doesn't arrive we could still be strengthening from somewhere, we got beat yesterday by goal kicks in an excellent game and have only been very much second best at Harlquins.

We do not have a right to beat every other team and don't try and tell me we didn't show commitment yesterday.

The club ,at the moment belongs to Kath and co. That is a fact that can only be changed if they decide to leave and sell. The hope that a local supporter and friends will buy the club is only a hope

imho this message board has become an embarrassment and all of you who disagree with me will be pleased to know i'm not contributing anymore'"

I really hope you change your mind. It's tough being an FC fan right now and we need some level-headedness to keep us in check.

FWIW a 6th derby defeat in 9 in the week of being dumped out the cup to lowly Salford, compounded by a cringeworthy signing of a domestic violence perpetrator the day after launching a campaign against domestic violence, and seeing our chairperson cosying up to the Rhinos coaching staff on tv is just too much crap in a short space of time - understandable that some feel the need to blow a gasket.

Essentially we're a ragbag of individuals united by our desire to see the team do well. Some feel the need to attack individuals, some will look for reasons, some will criticise those making the criticisms as not being true fans. On a night like last night, you're bound to get a disproportionate amount of slating the personnel at the club as the disappointment and frustration is still fresh. Just scroll past those posts. icon_wink.gif

Let me get this right. You seem to be saying;

Losing to your fiercest rivals. For the sixth time in a little more than 2 years. No problem.

Promising young player gets serious injury. No worries that's OK.

Signing a wife beating criminal awaiting sentence who has been sacked in disgrace by previous club. Fine.

Fans having a moan on a message forum. HANG THEM!

If you should ever become aware of your problem then I would be happy to recommend a suitable counsellor.

The reason why some are asking for Agar and the board to be out is simply because we lost to Rovers, can't some see that, once we start on the winning streak again people will calm down, let's just hope we win the 2nd derby game and put some of this terrible memory to bed for awhile.
We could of got slaughted yesterday but we didn't so be thankful for that, I know I am, maybe if a bit more committment had been shown I think we would of come away the winners, so lets march on and show our support to Hull FC.

OK. shortest resignation in history but to justify myself

I am gutted to lose ,especially to hkr who ,as a club I despise

Iam desperately sorry for Tom Briscoes injury for both his sake and the clubs

I think the signing of Reardon is questionable to say the least

I agree with you on all accounts, it seems everytime we lose a game there's this dirty great list of people/players who they would like to see shot.

I also hate losing to anyone, never mind that lot from the other side.
But my wounds are healing and the scars are fading, unlike others which are gaping wide open, oozing a sour puss and are still very, very prominent.

If Reardon had signed for 'another' SL team and we were struggling for players there would be some people asking why we didn't sign him.

And NO I don't condone what he has done, before I'm accused of doing so.

I would not have questioned why we didn't sign him at all. If anything, I would have questioned with anyone signed him. This signing has sent out some terrible messages to the RL world, and shows how desperate we are. I would rather have promoted an U18 to the wing, ala Tom Briscoe last year versus Warrington, than this signing.

I can understand people having a go about the team as a whole but when they start having a slag-of-athon against individuals that's what i don't like. The list is endless of people who have been subject to witch hunts by our fans - Blacklock, Calderwood, Lee, Dowes, Dykes et al.

I post about individuals when i do i try to keep it to their abilities and technical skills (although i certainly aint no expert myself), i'm not in the know, i don't know what goes on behind the scenes or off the pitch.

We are all hurting and we are all annoyed but we all need to back the team a 100% - why? Because if we don't no one else will.

Did we show commitment yesterday? No we didnt, apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half.

When we did play with energy we didn't seem to have a clue with ball in hand and no organisation what so ever. Players didn't know where to run or have any set plays close to the try line.

Its been like this for the last 3 or 4 weeks and just not good enough.

Watching a forward take a ball from a near standing start and run into a wall of defenders and see how long he can stay standing for isn't my idea of Rugby League.

Now this isn't a rant because we've lost a game. The way we've been playing is simply boring, predictable and ineffective.

To add to the insult to read todays paper and see Agars comments of 'we're not a million miles away'. Richard get a grip pal we're atrocious. If under your coaching good players haven't the confidence to pass a ball down the line then something is wrong.

The worst thing this weekend is signing Reardon, when he's on his way to the big house.

What a four king joke
