Goodbye Jacob Miller by the sounds of it

"There aren't many better CVs in the competition than that of Leon and that experience will be great for our young halves like Jordan Rankin, Jordan Abdull and Harry Tyson-Wilson, who can learn from a Grand Final winner and former Super League Young Player of the Year.

Hopefully miller on his way. Bit of a gamble from the club as sneyd could be a 1 season wonder and pryce could spend more time injured than playing but what else is realistically available? pryce will be good for the younger players IMO. Just need to get rid of miller, rankin and horne to retire and sign brett carney too now

Need to keep Rankin and stay away from Carney, we all knew where what would end

I think we need to now employ a dedicated half back coach. No coincidence that Sneyd has blossomed under Danny Orrs stewardship and we need one to help Sneyd and Abdull and HTW progress. Hate to say it but maybe time to bring Cooke back into the club?

Excellent signings for Hull, with a mix of experience and potential.

When was the last time we signed one (neither mind two) halfbacks in such good form.

Shaul
Lineham, Crooks, Sa, Talanoa
Pryce, Sneyd
Taylor, Houghton, Paea
Ellis, Tuson
Westerman

Feka
Cunningham
Hadley
Whoever you prefer out of Watts, Thompson, Bowden etc.

That's a really good 17 imo, and we've got some depth aswell, with more signings to come. If Radford can't coach them to at least the top 6 then he has to go.

Pleased with these. Pryce makes sense with the young guns coming through in that position and his form this year hasn't been too shabby at all. Sneyd will be a great signing. People wonder if he's a one season wonder but I like the cut of his jib - he looks like he belongs out on the field doing exactly the job of a half and has some good experience behind him already. Hope he agrees terms and gets on board.

Let's face it we haven't attracted our primary candidates but these signings will improve the team dramatically in a key area and hopefully the whole dynamic will change out on the field as a result.

So its Pryce and Sneyd.

Are they a world class half back pairing? No

Are they the best half back pairing in Super League? No

Are they the best half back pairing we have had for years? Undoubtedly icon_biggrin.gif

I personally think we have a strong squad this season it's the coaching that's bad IMO, I hope the coaching improves next year id hate to think it's mostly the good coaching and support play at cas which is making sneyd look good
