I thought he came across quite well considering he was having to deal with Gwillam. He is probably a little bit too open but that will deffo gain him respect within the fan base if not in other areas!
Looks like Rankin and Heremai will be your starting halfs. Mcdonnell will be fit for the start of the season and will battle with Shaul for the full back spot. Shaul has said that he wont play on the wing which is a decision Radford respects as it means he is backing himself to win the full back spot.

Mostly trying to lead him and couldn't resist asking him what he thought of Rovers recruitment but Radford had his measure most of the time, I don't know how we'll do on game day but I got the distinct impression there will be no b8ggering about in the camp!! Radford said if anyone is dropped for anything but form, then he will come straight out and tell the fans why they have been dropped! I wondered when someone would let the cat out of the bag about why Whitings Testimonial is at Featherstone and Radford duly obliged!

On Gale: Hull approached Bulls about him a few months ago but were turned away. Now the financial troubles have hit they offered him to Hull by which time we had signed Rankin and he is a player Radders clearly sees as a main pivot for Hull next season.

Thought last years pack got bullied too much and is happy with the pack for next year with no plans for any more signings - although I thought he knew a bit too much about the Fiji prop for there to be no interest!

Feels last year players did not always know what was expected of them on the pitch at times and were confused with game plans etc.

How come Miller's not the starting scrum half, are rumours true that he's home sick or one of the players where trying to offload?

heremaia is a very good interchange hooker.will never make a scrum half.miller has got to be first choice.everyone is entitled to there opinion.i don't agree with Radford on this one.

he said he is playing in France and the French season finishes in July and implied that there was a chance that he might join us then

It's pre season and I am sure Richard Horne will have something to say about it, and also how do you know that the coach might just be keeping some things closer to his chest.

Maybe he is thinking about getting Cunningham playing.
