I think RH can do a good job at FB, so we may not need to bring in a full back which is RUMORED we are thinking about.

I think the plan with chase was to sign him and ship another player out, no prizes for guessing who!

Isn't Seymour contracted for a while yet? Would have cost to ship him out, can't see anyone else buying him? I thought (perhaps wrongly) was a new 6&7 and with Seymour making up numbers as the chances of a 6&7 playing all season with no injuries is small. Seymour would be a half decent squad player. But don't know what salary he is on?

Didn't McRae say that if the Chase deal happened they'd have to shuffle things around a bit & other areas of the squad would suffer? I basically took this to mean signing Chase would mean paying Seymour off.

Hull were at full cap this season. Look at the players that have left & those that have signed. Unless Seymour is sent packing I reckon there's not much more than £100k left, enough to sign McDonnell or to retain Aspinwall & McGoldrick.

I think we will see 2/3 players coming in so yes still room on the cap.

I would be surprised and disappointed if we are near full cap.

Really? Not what I've heard, in fact the opposite.

I can see us bringing in a half and another, along with McDonnell.

were adding 2 more players from overseas (if i heard it right) neither deal is done yet.

Two more players being looked at but no signings "in the bag". AP never mentioned anything about the 6 in the bag that he couldn't announce and we won't have anything to announce until two or three weeks.

I'm starting to feel very let down and can't help thinking that we've been promised a hell of a lot that hasn't been delivered and that isn't even being mentioned anymore.

Internationals and exciting signings are not, on the whole, what I can see and it seems that we've conveniently added Watts and Pitts to the "new signings" in order to bolster numbers now.

Maybe No Mcdonnell after all
