They haven't but the problem for Briscoe is Charnley has been in great form and Hall was almost certain to play after his tries in the 4Nations last year.

Sinfield & Ablett have been out of form but Hall, JJB, Peacock and Burrow have been playing well.

Andy Lynch has been a better player than Jamie Peacock this season.

Ablett at centre is the strangest one for me. Even if you rate him as a backrower I don't think anyone can make a good case that he's even in the best 6 options we have at centre. Even with some being out injured I don't see how how he can be justified ahead of Cudjoe and Goulding.

I can only presume he's there for his defence, as you say, there's certainly better.

Charnley is in good form but not as a good a player as Briscoe. IMHO.

Halves should be Brough and Widdop. They are the teo best halves we have and could be very good together. Instead we have a kiwi and a 13 there. Ridiculous. I know Widdop can't come over for this, but Brough should be in there in preparation.

Peacock still in there is barmy as well. Lynch has been a machine.

McIllorum is very unlucky to miss out. Him and Houghton could be the two future hookers for England.
