Would only mean we have a half sorted for next season, but we've not had a sniff about a new half apart from Lam

| Still think we could be making an error, gambling on Lam, which probably won't happen.
Means we have to use a quota spot to replace him, which is always a gamble anyway.
Keep Trueman and have 2 quota spots left for a centre and forward.
Think it's too late now though.

| I had heard something along those lines a couple weeks back however i really couldn't see it or the point of the deal either.
I don't expect to be seeing him in a black and white shirt next year, mind.

Abdull been given a weight target to be at for start of pre season, personal trainer sorted for him too. Got to be clauses built into his contract relating to fitness levels

won't do us a lot of good if he doesn't meet them though. He clearly has no personal discipline when it comes to eating

He's been overweight to varying degrees throughout his career. He'll be 29 next season and has never addressed it in fact this season he looks even worse. Unless the personal trainer is with him 24hrs a day it's not going to make any difference. There's no doubt he is a talented player but is he worth the risk.

| I'd say no if he's our main half backnsigning, particularly if trueman goes. Abdul and cust give me no confidence at all. Well be lucky if they play half a dozen games together

I get a feeling that Cartwright will either get him in shape or he’ll once again be shipped out.
I’d like to think that Abdul is fully aware of what is and isn’t expected re his weight & fitness and the club will have already spoken to him about it when pre and post his signing.

Problem there is if he's shipped out, it'll be another season of disruption as we're missing a marquee player and key pivot. Given the failures of this season, next season will be a make or break season for the club, many fans are deciding to give the club another chance with a seemingly new start under Cartwright and Myler, but get it wrong with releasing players early into the season again and the knock on effect that has on results on the pitch and many fans may walk away for good

Don’t know why but when I read your posts, they remind me of the the famous Hawaii 50-0 final.
