| On sale Friday. But with a number of safety clampdowns.
Rovers are only getting 3,750 tickets in the North and East/North Corner. Hull fans in the North being sent a ticket for the South for this game.
To buy a ticket in the home ends you need to have bought a ticket since 2019. But you can buy 6 each.
Sniffer dogs for drugs and pyro will be there and drinks in the North and West Upper will be served in cups not bottles.
So likely crowd will be down but I welcome the move to bring the crowd back uunder control, we dont want to head the way of football (for example Newcastle fans at the weekend could only go to Sunderland on official buses that were police escorted)

| Good news looks like a few Rovers prats have ruined it for the majority but it's not worth the risk, if they're like that when they win imagine how bad they would be had they lost. I hope we don't ever give them west upper tickets again.

| Only issue is that will force Rovers fans into the home areas, which has potential to cause issues

It states “to purchase tickets for the home areas you have to have purchased a ticket since 2019 but you can get up to 6 tickets”

| It's sad that a few numpties who from the dark side have spoilt it for the majority of decent fans, no doubt the ones in the minority causing the trouble likely weren't long standing supporters either.
Pleased to see that our club has put the concerns of its fans before ticket sales too by restricting the tickets, whilst some may well still get through due to friends and family possibly getting tickets for them at least they wouldn't be ones likely to repeat the incidents of last year.

| 30 quid a ticket, think they are deluded if they think this will get anywhere near capacity.

Yes you need to login to buy, but some will hand tickets to Rovers freinds and family...
Prices have also shot up, £34 to sit in the middle of the East stand. Know we are where we are financially but Hull City its £28 for the same seat (with frequent ticket deals) the rugby better be a step up this season!

I reckon 17/18k
We got 19.5k for a 2nd round night game in 2020, but we were all hyped for our most expensive squad ever back then

| Got to say I was taken back at seeing £34 to sit in the East Stand.
Plenty of tickets for £24 - £28 in other areas of the ground but I can't help but think that's a bit steep if it's going to be the price throughout the season.

I think with the combination of it being a Thursday night, price of tickets and the restriction in tickets I’d say we’ll be doing well to get above 16K.
Think what will save the attendance is the fact it’s the opening game.
Was quite shocked when I was asked to get a ticket for someone online to see it saying £32 for one ticket.

I've got a pass so I don't know how much tickets usually are but £34 to sit in the East Stand seems way over the top.
I might be wrong but didn't we have a ticket promotion for the last derby which boosted the crowd to over 20k?
I'm also pretty sure the opening game of the last two seasons against Saints and Cas had ticket offers as well.
With all the new players and opening the season with a derby we should be looking to pack in as many as possible and create a great atmosphere.

The clubs lack of marketing expertise comes to the fore once again
The interest from both clubs fans for this coming season due to all the new players that will appear and given its the opening fixure of the season make this the most anticipated derby for years.
Even the fact its a Thursday night fixture which will always effect the gate.the club have missed a real chance to pack out the stadium and not having a limited number of promotion tickets available to try and get some newcomers in simply lacks marketing, and the club look like they cant be bothered and would rather go the other way and increase some ticket prices to improve revenue rather than trying fill the stadium
