| Can understand the massive appetite for tickets from Rovers this time round. Going for an eclipse of the 56-12 from a few years ago.
Now Hoy's off - marvellous.

| In the spirit if Derby week....
Frankly if Rovers don't win by 50 then they are the most terrible side ever!

| It’s just brilliantly set up for a FC victory now though isn’t it. Back to the walls, under performing home team and not given a chance.
Banker FC win
Seen this situation play out for both teams in this situation over the years

Its a fair point but I just can't see it. HKR don't have that same tendency to not turn up that we do, especially when going in as favourites.

| I can't remember a derby fixture with such a yawning chasm between the sides in terms of personnel and form. The fact that Rovers have sold 5k tickets is a compelling proxy for their supreme confidence and quite rightly so.

Quite right but in the past when we have been under dogs we might have been down on form but not the utter shambles we are now.

| Maybe, can see all your points and plenty of validity in both.
My only concern is that FC sure as hell need a win, and a performance or the season could be over before it’s begun really. We’ve built up a bit of credit and form to know if we do get caught out in an emotional performance we can recover and compete in the next game. It puts me on edge how desperate you are, and sometimes that’s what teams need

I understand where you’re coming from but in the past FC have had the wherewithal to get up for a Derby when they’ve been underdogs. This whole set are totally gutless. As I said after the Salford debacle, including today we’ve got 4 spankings and the Wakey away, which will be another loss and relegation looms. This is by far the worst FC team I’ve watched in over 60 years and I’ve watched some e.

| I think until we get Truman in I would move Carlos to 6.bring Scott or Wynne into the centre. Either start Lovodua at 9 or take him out the 17 and go with Houghton and Dwyer or even Dwyer and Cator.
Don't know if Ligi is back next week but if he is then start with him and Satae at props, Ligi owes a big performance. Probably gotta go with the same back row 3 of Griffin, Andre and Fash (we can't do much else there)
Litten into full back with a choice of Mcintosh or Mitch on the wing.
Maybe a spot or two on the bench for some young new blood.
I think leaving the three Hull lads Houghton, Taylor and Lane out of the derby would be a positive move that he means business.

| I'd give a couple of the reserves a shot to be honest.
Litten
Swift
Sutcliffe
Tuimavave
Wacokecoke
Medforth
Clifford
Taylor
Dwyer
Satae
Savelio
Griffin
Fash
Sao
Evans (possibly Laidlaw/Staveley instead)
Brown
Balmforth
Can't see us winning no matter what team we put out, but I think having a few younger kids who are out to impress would put the effort in over the players currently just going through the motions.

Remember to drink plenty before and during the game to numb the pain. Also drink plenty after the game to forget the events of the game.
