| Best of luck to him. Wembley hero twice over.
He'd probably be going at the end of next year anyway so who can blame him for taking a three year deal at a club close to his family.

| Club legend, did us proud. Best wishs to him and thanks.
Probably the right time to go, though, and will be interesting to see how he is replaced. Hope it is not just Gale.

"Addressing the fans, Sneyd admits to having a peculiar relationship with the Hull Faithful but hopes that his time at the club will be remembered fondly.
"It's a mix because I didn't half take some stick when I first got there, I won't lie. But I think because of the way I am I probably grew on them.
"They probably gave up on giving me stick because they realised that I genuinely don't care what people think of me and started to be more like fans and enjoying it. Having them sing my name at Wembley was incredible so I must say thank you to them.
"Truthfully, I can't see the pressure from the fans being the same here.
"There might be different kinds of pressure, but in Hull it's such a cauldron, it can get brutal at times over in Hull."'"

| If I had to pick one memory of Sneyd it would be the dying seconds and first few seconds of extra time in that victory at Catalans, when in about four kicks of his boot he turned an almost certain defeat into a victory. Only Sneyd could have done that.

Truly incredible and I was there. Up there with the Wembleys.

| Always been a big fan of Sneyd and tbh i think the fans took to him straight away - The Sneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyddddddddddd chant every time he scored a goal round up opposition supporters to the point that they had to mimic it when he occasionally missed. Weve loved the guy in large parts but in his last couple of years he hasnt been great. Club legend

Marc has been absolutely metronomic with his goal kicking EY, and until only very recently the best kicking half in the game, drop goals, touch finding, place kicking, he’s been a match winner so many times, his value to our team will become even more evident as time goes on without him, in those moments when the game is won and lost, we will miss his calmness.
Having said all that, as Wilf has alluded to recently, the equilibrium at our club wasn’t quite right, and apparently the time was right for him to move on, definitely a good financial move for him.
And if Luke Gales appointment is a one year deal, in the circumstances if we can get a year, or more out of Gale, that is probably the best outcome we could have hoped for, as there aren’t a lot of halves available.
But when I first heard the news about Sneyd leaving us, I must admit it saddened me, so underrated, but a big match player without doubt.
