Pretty happy with that if it comes off, I don't see many better halfbacks available and he is a decent runner, very vocal and a fierce competitor. Main issue are his injuries, but Hodgson knows him and I'm sure wouldn't sign him if these were a current issue.

Interesting reading the West fans forum, they are pleased he is leaving because it hasnt worked out for him there, bitsy he will do really well in superleague, saying he is better than Hasting and Austin.

This doesn't mean he will do better than them, but it's good reading.

Good signing if he stays fit,only played 22 games in the last 3 years.

I'd go the full hog and make him captain if he signs.
Always shown plenty of passion and enthusiasm when I've watched him.

Fox sports, NRL. Com and Channel 9 news are all reporting in the last 5-7 hours that Reynolds has signed with us now.

It’s a big gamble especially with it been 3 years but in Reynolds defence he has been in a terrible situation the past few years:
Signed by Cleary who walked out the club and Madge clearly didn’t rate him.
On a massive amount of money which was always the thing that got brought up when he was injured or out of form despite playing at 9 a lot.
Had a legal case over his head from his psycho ex girlfriend who lied about getting assaulted by him as well as her lying about been pregnant and suffering 3 miscarriages.
Knowing the club don’t want you and have been trying to get rid for over a year.

Hopefully a move over here gives him a fresh start will get him back to his best. The fact Hodgson already has a relationship with him and saw him training daily and still wants him is a big plus too.

I'd be happy with that signing. He's a cracking player from what I've seen. Ok he hasn't played much first grade in last few seasons, but you have benji Marshall playing the same position.

Also, we have signed players who have played less eg- carlos, bureta, ligi and satae.

Hodgson will know him, how he plays and what he will bring, (abit more housery like the snake) 2 years with option of a third? Yeah, will definitely do for me.

Think the size of the deal with Wests has been the biggest problem with his time there.
Had injuries, but presume BH has coached him, so will know just what he’s capable of.
Fresh start could be just what he needs. Won’t get much better to come to Super League.
Hastings won Man of Steel and Reynolds is a far better player and leader.

I know nothing about him, never seen him in action but from that photo he looks a bit chunky for a running half.
