| Apart from Shaul and Kelly are we right to assume everyone is available for consideration? Connor obviously had his knee iced up, plus Jones recovering from Covid but we should also see Griffin back. Based on original plan for the Derby that was disrupted due to Griff's covid protocol reckon we'll go
Griffin
Faraimo
Tuimavave
Fonua
Naulago
Connor
Sneyd
Taylor
Johnstone
Bowden
Ma'u
Jones
Savelio
Houghton
Satae
Sao
Cator
Must be a big question over Jones obviously.

Nice team Mrs B, but I wouldn’t move Jake, If they are all free, Griff back to centre, with Carlos and Sneyd in the halves, think Connor would cope with Austin’s high kicking game better. As I say depending on who’s available. Swift back maybe?

| I'd start with Cator as he gives us energy and more guile through the middle and keep Savelio on the edge as he links well with the outside backs. On form both should start. Jones on the bench because his fitness could be an issue. Thought Taylor struggled last week which was understandable.
Sao to start with Bowden off the bench. Good to see Bowden is improving. Fully fit he is a very solid player. Need more go forward from the start and don't want another Wigan CC situation when the big boppers came on when the game was already lost.
Long way from kick off so expect one or two injuries and desperately hoping for no covid issues.

I can see your point but its more than likely that Last will play Griffin at full back and move Connor to six
See little point in moving Carlos to 6 and he wont risk McNamara in such a big game.

Connor will go missing at 6, seen it time and time again, especially against one of the top 4, let’s see what he can do from fb, leave McNamara in, can always change things if getting torn a new one

That’s my thinking too.
I’d start Jake at FB, Griff in the Centre and Mac at 6, with Fonua on the bench.
What we gain from having Jake at FB, will outweigh what we experience we lose with Mac at 6.
With Fonua on the bench, we have that added impact and options to switch things around if we need to.

| I don't get why anyone wouldn't have Cator in the starting lineup ????
And why would you move Savelio from where he's in top form to accommodate an unfit Jones?
Bit of a head scratcher, keep Connor at fullback all day, I don't like moving players who are in good form just to fit others in. If anything I'd start Griffin on the bench and ease him in at second row against tired legs , as Fonua and Faraimo are playing well now, Carlos is Carlos and Ratu is Ratu .
The only position I'm slightly concerned about is halfback where sneyds in no form and McNamara is a kid.
the rest picks itself on form

Like you not a fan of Connor at 6 but he wont leave Mcnamara at half back
The lad can defend but has little attacking game yet which has to develop and playing him with Sneyd who is not in good form would be a disaster against quality opposition and having him on the bench would be a waste when we are in need of punch from the bench positions.
Still think he will go with Griffin at full back and Connor at 6 but the other option would be leaving Jake at full back with Houghton at 6 and Griffin or Fonua on the bench.
Hope we get Warrington as i think we can beat them

| Theres no place in the side for Jones and he'll be off anyway so just let him go now. Sounds like Last has told him thats hes down the pecking order anyway so barring injury wont get a look in imo
As for the game ive lost interest this season. Even if we won the grand final it'd be very hollow and not real imo

Yes Seb, I'd be devastated and so flat if we beat Wires, Wigan then Saints to win the GF on home turf.
It'd make me seriously consider walking away from the game.

Oh my days Seb.
Try telling the players, coaches and staff that these games are just hollow.
Everyone involved in the sport are doing they're utmost to keep the game alive.
To win the grand final regardless of no fans being in the stadium will still be an achievement for whoever in these competitive matches.
Try telling Leeds they're Cup win was just hollow.
It was one of the best matches I'd seen in a long time and very enjoyable.
Don't downplay what this season is, it's a game trying to survive and clubs putting out competitive teams in the most difficult of seasons.

| But really the seasons a load of b0ll0x isnt it - all teams have played a different amount of games, we basically forfeited a game against Leeds that we probably would of won if we had a proper side out so handed Leeds a place above us - Catalan have hardly played, Wigan getting another chance to move up the table this week when no other clubs have that opportunity - all a bit of a joke tbh. The season isnt fit for purpose and is there just to satisfy Sky - for me anyone who wins this years grand final from a false league position makes the grand final a sham and not one that should be recognised in the same way as others - it'll be more of a show final - yes the players may want to perform to their best but its a win that will never be truly remembered as a proper grand final win
