| Rumours are circling that Hull FC are interested in signing Hull KR prop Mose Masoe.
The Black and Whites have reportedly enquired about the 28-year-old’s availability with the view of bringing him in on a two-year deal.
Masoe signed for Rovers midway through last season and played a big part in their promotion back to Super League, featuring five times in the Qualifiers.
Should he make the switch, Masoe would become the latest high-profile name to move from East Hull to the West, following the likes of Albert Kelly, Liam Watts and Josh Hodgson.
Just read this on NewsNow:Rugby League. and nearly choked on my cuppa , surely not .

| Hmm. Not for me. When he is good he can be very good, but he goes missing far too often.
I must have missed us signing Josh Hodgson though. I wonder how he feels about being a back up to Houghton.

| What I will say in defence of this potential signing is that people shouldnt judge him based on the view that a man of his size should be knocking people flying all over the place. Yes you would expect a man his size to make more impact than he does, but that doesnt in itself make him a poor player. If you compare him with Paea their stats are very similar. Their workrate in terms of carries and tackles are almost identical. Paea makes half a metre per carry more, but Mose makes more offloads and tackle busts. Errors and pens are pretty close. Mose misses more tackles. The question is would he bring enough to us to justify a quota spot and a not unsubstational salary? I dont know the answer to that.
I will also say that playing in that Rovers team might not be the best to judge from. He is the one giant in a team of pygmys and will no doubt get special attention from defences. In our side there are plenty of others to take the focus away from him.

| I would normally be critical of this potential signing, but I'm still wiping the egg off my face after the Westerman signing.

| For a start Josh Hodgson didn’t come from Rovers to Hull
Wouldn’t be a fan of this signing at all and can’t see it coming off either. Far too unfit for our scheme when our forwards play high minutes. Well higher than the 12 minutes he plays per game.
Still well clear.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

When he’s good he’s really good like against Wigan but last week against Cas he kept passing the ball on and went missing

Next year we have
taylor
paea
bowden
green
masi
fash
bienek
As props. Are we really likely to sign another prop?
Back row we currently have hadley and lane signed up.
Much more likely to be looking at back row options than props IMO

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| Another unsubstantiated rumour from Facebook. Rovers fans are really winning the leg pulling this season.

| I preferred the Burgess rumour.
Still hoping we've got Jones from Salford.

Correct. As if they'd let him go, let alone to us.
