It would be a great honour for the club if this comes off. Hopefully it can happen although we don't want it to cause any disruption to the start of next year's Super League.

to be honest i can't see 40k turning up for that but the prospect of a couple of weeks in Aus sounds good

I was actually told about this a few months back. My old man's mate told him we would be playing Wigan in the first Super League game next year, and to guess where we would be playing. My dad said London, which was a no; Toronto, which was a no....and then was told it would be in Australia. This actually came from Pearson, so it is being seriously discussed, but whether it comes off, I'm not sure.

If they end up playing each other as well, as long as it's our away fixture, then that's fine.

Why not plan it for the 2019 season give fans more opportunity to save and go?

the 9's tournament might be back on then. You know what the NRL are like, they change their mind too often, plus, this isn't confirmed yet.

who's home game will it be with that the fixture ? wigans' or fcs'? if its ours will we see a slight deduction in prices for our passes, maybe also the reason the club hasn't finalised details of the Direct Debit scheme too

If 2008 is anything to go by hundreds of Hull fans will be going to the RL World Cup this November. If i'd have known earlier i may have opted to see Hull in Australia rather than England.

Too disruptive for me and I can't really see any upside to it for the club. It's not as if we're suddenly going to be signing SOO standard players on the back of it or signing up a major sponsor as a result of being dry humped in Sydney. Looking at how this year's 3 WCC participants have fared I'd rather we stayed well away from it.
