Brilliant player that can turn a game in an instant but poor. poor attitude but then again the peer group at FC is a lot different to that at Rovers and I don't think any messing around will be tolerated and if the safeguards are in place and as is stated elsewhere he is coming for less money on a short contract with something to prove then we have to trust Radford and Tony, lets face it last year Washbrook was poop apparently! I'll wait till its confirmed however.

Looking at who started this thread, i'll take this with a huge pinch of salt.

Kelly will change his attitude in the Hull FC environment to be a great acquisition.... if it happens.... he is a great strong direct supportive player who would compliment Sneyd....Great idea to put him on a lower grade basic salary and a one year deal with incentives... a tighter regime at HullFC for Kelly to be more disciplined.

It's in the hdm so could be something in it. I think Frank will go back and play one more year with his younger brother. Kelly on an incentive contract would be a great signing in my opinion. A really good foil for Sneyd's kicking game.

If he'd only done that a rovers I'd agree but it's been the pattern his whole career. Very much in the mould of a Rangi.

Good signing i think , kind of player we need if true . Be happy if him and Justin carney are the 2 signings Pearson mentioned weeks ago !

I also think Kelly was engineering an exit before the other lot got relegated. It was rumoured he was offered to us during the close season last year.

If he applies himself he will be a great signing .
Also I think he is mates with Mini so he and the other senior players should keep him in check , hopefully!

Watts came with a similar reputation and has done well.

Was told he failed a drug test at KR on coming back from his compassionate leave and was also rumoured to of been arrested for fighting in town last year too. As good as a player he can be do we really want someone like this is in the team?

A lot of teams have players with baggage, probably even ourselves. Can't all be squeaky clean . Even nrl players . I think it would be a mistake if we don't sign a quality player just because he has a pasted . Got nothing to lose in signing him , if he makes a mistake at hull then get rid .
