I had an email back from the shop stating that over 100 coaches will be leaving Walton Street Car Park at 7:30am on Saturday. As City are at home, there will be stewards on site taking payments for parking.

I would like to park there and have no problems with paying. On matchdays, I usually pay and park there anyway.

I can't imagine how much space 100 coaches will take and what space will be left for cars. If for some reason we couldn't get parked, we would need a good back up plan.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

It looks like Walton Street car park has 1100 spaces (I thought it would be bigger than that), so 100 coaches with 1 car per 4 supporters would fill up the car park. This is what city were advising earlier in the year... www.hullcitytigers.com/news/arti ... 25718.aspx

You would be suprised how much room 100 coaches will take up. They will try and squeeze them in the corner,but im suprised they have not got them going from the car parks around stadium to leave more room in walton street.

there is a new car park at the back of St Stephens - i will be down there after work today - but its very reasonable!

Has anyone ever got ale on these buses that's not in coke bottles and hip flasks and stuff?

Not a chance. Club won't allow alcohol on the coaches as it's against the law

If police stop a coach with alcohol on they will turn it back to hull

you cant manage without alcohol for about 4 hours?

It's more on the way back if we're celebrating or not. Didn't drink on the way there in 2013 but needed (wanted) a few on the way back. Trusted somebody else to sort my coach and ended up on these without been asked when our wet coach cancelled.

We'll see. Gonna attempt anyway. Worst case scenario is my ale going in the hold. I won't be taking loads anyway.

They have to say you can't drink but let's face it people will be have a few sneaky ones ,, coach 38 will be rocking
