| Daily Star reporting 7,000 HDM 10.000 (both figures rounded).
My estimate would be somewhere in between.

| It wasn't announced at the game nor is it on HDM or BBC websites.
Also who was man of the match?

| The Hull Daily Mail says 10,469 and the club's website says 7,900.
Irrelevant really since people never believe what's announced anyway.

| To be fair crowds have been poor for the super8s all round, which is something the RFL and the club's need to address. A marketing campaign is proably needed to explain the format better next year and convince the fans the games are the 'top' teams battling it out.
That said our crowds have definitely dropped his year, which is no surprise due to the 'all hype and litle delivery' weve had from the club for years. with the season now dead you can see the Hudds and Catalan games being our worst attended since our 2007 upturn in crowds.

| the crowds could well decide if the super 8s continue, another couple of seasons similar to this and i can see the format changing again due to fans staying away when teams have nothing to play for

No surprise at all. I was just questioning the discrepancy between the two figures.

| We really need to make k.c a fortress next season.to many teams seem to enjoy playing there.opposing players always used to say the boulevard was their least favourite ground.doubt any players would say k.c

| Another issue is not knowing when the last 3 or 4 home fixtures are going to be, especially in peak holiday season. I'm a passholder but am on holiday for the final two home games so that's my season at the KC done.

| Considering the amount of Leeds fans at the game it should be worrying for the club.
1500/2000 from leeds in a crowd said to be 7900.
Pearson has only himself to blame with his support for Radford.
That said its about time we reverted back to playing on Sunday and ditch Friday nights

The last time we switched to Sundays (2012) our average attendance went down from 12,427 to 11,885 despite Sir Peter Gentle's amazing turnaround in our fortunes.

Nowhere near that from leeds. the whole north stand only holds 4000 and it was less than 1/3 full

Sundays won't be viable as default matchday much longer. Looking at the Super 8s, the Top 3 and us play Friday as default, Catalans Saturday. Wire, Hudds and Cas have Sunday as default but Warrington are pushing to change this:
"Supporters have been asked in a recent survey when they would prefer to see home matches played, and Smith believes The Wire are at a disadvantage if they continue with regular Sunday afternoon slots.
“We won’t be able to afford to play Sunday games any more,” he said.
“Well, we’ll have to consider what our speccies feel about that, but if they want a winning team you can’t play Sundays because if you draw the TV game on a Thursday or Friday you disadvantage yourself. All the big clubs play their home games on Fridays – you’ve got to join them otherwise you’re going to make it hard for your own team. Certainly we’re listening to our speccies on what they want, but they’ve also got to consider whether they want a winning team and a team that can compete.”
Coincidentally or not, all the bottom 4 in this year's regular SL competition play Sundays. Would be a backwards step for us to move.

| I don't know how many fans are/have stayed away this year due to not enjoying the game with LR in charge, and not feeling I was getting value for money financially and for my emotional support.
But, I have seen enough since beating KR away, that there is a real effort to be more expanisve and more entertaining on the pitch, and that change from playing one up rugby all season before that means there will be mistakes whilst the team becomes more fluid.
That and the obvious commitment from AP in the signings for next year, and the young ones really breaking through is enough for me to get back on the horse next year and buy a pass, and I'm sure I wont be alone.
I think next year will be OK, but LR has nail it or without question he goes.
One more time round for me

If LR doesn't nail it, AP will get rid at Easter. Like you say, recruitment has been strong and despite missing some big players we've played entertaining and spirited rugby. The scenarios are either we improve (with a better squad) or don't and AP acts - he's not backed LR until the end of time after all.
