| Any idea if the full ground will be open for the cup game, or will we all be in the main stand?

| Radford has some tricky decisions to make now. We can't afford to take Sheffield lightly, but we have a few guys that could really use a week off. It's a tough balancing act.

Westerman (try to keep his minutes to a minimum if possible)
There should be enough quality there to get the result. At the very least we need to give Pryce and Mini a break, and if Houghton plays I really hope we don't flog him for 60 minutes again.

| I'd rest plenty and if we get beat so what? We need to concentrate on winning league games and the cup is a distraction we don't need

I disagree. Even if we finish middle 8 it's highly unlikely that we will go down. We have zero chance of winning the league or even being properly competitive. However it only takes a couple of favourable draws and one upset ala Warrington 13 and we are going to Wembley again.

It would take a massive turnaround in performances for us to be in with any chance of wembley but it's quite feasible that we will finish 11th leaving us with only 3 home games in the middle 8. Does anyone know what the fixture format is for these games?

There's a matrix rlhererl.
9th and 10th play four home games, 11th and 12th play three home games.
the 9th placed team will be at home to the other three SL clubs and the top ranked Championship club.

Look at 2008. We are no worse this season than then, but we got good draws are rode out look to the final. Hell we led the final with less than half an hour to play.
There are at least 4 championship teams in the next round. You only need to draw one of them and get someone like Cas or Widnes at home in the quarters and it's possible. It's optimistic I know, but we shouldn't sacrifice a competition that we might be able to win for one we definitely can't. I know we are rubbish, but personally I'm not concerned about relegation at all.

I've seen us lose at wembley enough times for now so will be quite happy to concentrate on the league

What about next season, or the following season?
You'd be one of the first on here moaning if the club played a weakened team against Sheffield and got beat. I get confused though because you keep saying you don't care anymore.

Surely you know the value in terms of revenue that a good cup run will generate? That's the difference between a profit and a loss at the end of the year.
Not to mention the invaluable confidence gained from a continued winning streak? Winning next week generates more confidence for the Huddersfield game. Another loss and the pressure intensifies.
Stupid comment.

| Pearson said that getting knocked out of the Cup at the first attempt last season cost him £50k. Tell him the Cup doesn't matter and to play a weakened team.
