| Firstly let me just say I'm a Salford fan. Anyway Im wondering what you think your chances are against us in a fortnight. Can you really see yourselves winning? We were poor against Saints but that was a one off and you lost yourselves against Warrington. So, with this in mind, do you think you can beat us or not? What sort of game should we expect and lets have some score predictions!

| We might have lost last night but do remember that Warrington are the favorites to win and we only lost by one point. Defence wise we was outstanding with one defensive error which allowed them to score. Attacking wise we was quite plain but at times we did have some good plays. Should be an interesting game I reckon.

| If you want to use Warrington as a benchmark then you can't really say that you were anything to write home about

| Depends which Salford team plays or turns up
Hock should get a ban, locke looks crocked, dobson rumoured to have shoulder injury
Would like to think after our first two games and performance wise we will get the points

Add to that , Paterson's leg injury also . I wouldn't be suprised if Locke is gone in a couple of months .
Salford's left edge looked woeful and their pack was well battered on Thursday.

| I agree about our left edge most worrying is Mason Caton Brown hopefully he'll be dropped though. He missed every tackle in the game against St Helens in what was a pitiful performance by him.

| We are not the greatest team in the world but at least we are a team. Our guys really are all in it together and play for each other, the badge and the fans. Salford however are a bunch of overpaid mercenaries who just play for the cash.

Posts like yours pish me off, you have no right to make false accusations against rugby players and what they are doing & for how much..
Firstly, how do you know for sure "our guys are in it together", on the back of one decent win & a near miss with Warry, they certainly weren't last year or in fact in 2013 when they effectively ousted Gentle?
So our players don't play for cash? You don't think Ellis is a bit of a mercenary for the amount of money we are paying him when he could have gone to a silverware potential team instead for less?
What about players on 1 year contracts, what about players whom no-one else will have (& we've signed our fair share even recently). How can you distinguish between those disingenuosly kissing the badge to those that just get on and give their all. What about players whom move from one team to another because they might win trophies, aren't they mercenary?
What about if any person moves to another job for more money, leaves a McDonalds counter job to say work in a restaurant, going by your thinking that's mercenary
You state they are overpaid, how do you know how much X player in the Salford team is earning & compared to how much any given FC player is earning.. you don't have a loving clue do you.
Instead of being critical & guessing at what a person is thinking and doing within their organisation to feed their families why not have a closer look at yourself

I don't think can win, I fully expect to win. I know Salford v Saints isn't the bench mark as Salford will be better but a loss would basically undo all the good work we have done so far imo.
24-10 to Hull.

Wow! That's quite a rant.
Is someone having a bad day?
Maybe you didn't get a Valentine's card.
I do think that on the basis of what I've seen the Hull players are a much closer unit this year than in the past.
What gives you the right to accuse Ellis of being a mercenary? What makes you think he didn't come to Hull to win silverware? Didn't we get to Wembley in 2013?
Who said anything about kissing the badge? I said playing for the badge.
Perhaps you can explain why when Salford have so many talented players they are under performing so badly?

| Hull win by 10 points. We've looked superb in defense for the first two games and really starting to gell in attack. With Ellis, Sa and Talanoa back in two weeks, can't see anything other than a win for FC.

| Lets be honest we cant play as bad as we did on thursday. Saints are probably the best team in the league and we carried a lot of injuries ie locke. I think both teams will fancy there chances. Good start by you boys only 1 try conceded is quite impressive

| Im predicting we (Salford) win by 12. Marc Sneyd to struggle (as he normally does when the pressure is on) and prove Koukash was right to get rid of him.

| I predict a Hull win. 28-6. Salford left edge wont match our right edge on what I've seen up to now. Thats where we'll win it
