| Was thinking about the old Boulevard ground the other day.
Very intimidating place for an away supporter. Great atmosphere, singing in lots of different areas.
Parking was a pain, but still very good support in a well populated area.
The toilets were an experience!!
Snacks/drinks lousy at best, but reasonable price.
Threepenny stand= old stand very loud. Seating took a bit of the magic away.
Best stand = knackered. Anybody remember the tunnel??
The ends... Good view from both sides, a bit like the end at Odsal.
Anybody miss the place?? Or is the KC now considered home??

Threepenny standI miss the place. I would rather have the Boulevard anytime. A proper Rugby League ground.

| My brothers a teacher at the school that's now on the old boulevard site
Good memories of the place but it was never the same when two thirds of threepenny got replaced with seating and the was quite quiet after that. The last few seasons of the ground I stood with my bros and dad in the well near the tunnel and there was a good group of people in there with great banter. Always remember Jamie Bloem of Fax (or was it that big meathead from fax whose name escapes me atm?) getting blood binned with no sign of blood on him at all and someone shouting 'where you bleeding from, your f***in vagina?' to rapturous applause from all around. When we moved to the KC my old man got a season ticket on the half way line in East and weve never all been together at a game since

| One memory thats sticks in my mind is when thousands of supporters stayed behind on the pitch to listen to Humbersides commentary of Rovers game at Leigh.Their game kicked off 30 minutes after ours and if Rovers had won we'd have been Champions.IIRC Rovers where winning and somehow managed to lose in the last few minutes.

| My abiding memory of the Boulevard (standing in the "Best Stand" between the tunnel and dugouts) was the regular shouts of "I bet you a pound you miss it!" regularly shouted at opposing goal kickers...
Back in the day used to go to all A Team home games as well on a Friday night ...

| I feel nostalgia for the place, but I'm happy where we are. I've got great memories of there and met some genuine legends of the game within those crumbling walls and fences.
I used to get lifted over the turnstile by Charlie Stone, Vince Farrar, Knocker and Mick Crane as a kid or taken in through the players gate.
Me and my dad were proud members of the Supporters club, but the smoke in that place nearly killed me every week. And that was just from Craney.
Anyone got video of the NZ team doing the Haka at the very last game? That was a fitting end for me.

Were you one of the FC fans hurling bricks down on the Rovers fans? The match when spectators were moved onto the sidelines to escape the morons. That really was a derby at the Boulevard you could all be proud of.
