Apparently the RFL are investigating 3/4 clubs over their use of the dual reg system. Players must have played 3 or more games before July 25th to be eligible to play after that. Crooks had only played twice (?) before Sunday, which puts us as one of the clubs.
Possible sanctions are fine and/or points deduction if found guilty.

I think it would most likely be Donny as they are the team that made the infringement? All we do is make the players available. We don't decide who actually plays.

You haven't got a clue about the operational rules of the dual reg system. I highly doubt we can cop a penalty because the other club mistakenly played one of our players

I highly doubt we'd be deducted points or given a hefty fine when it's Donny that have messed it up

Sounds crazy, but wouldn't surprise me if the RFL tried to.

Surely we should know the rules? Why would we make a player available that would be ineligible?
Useless to us now if he can't get a game anywhere.
