Given that it looks like Radford is not going anywhere anytime soon, and it's generally thought that he is lacking coaching staff, would bringing n Paul Cooke as an assistant strengthen us?.
I know he's highly thought of by AP, and it would free Lasty up to go back to his youth development work.

We don't need another assistant. A successful experienced coach is what is needed. Hull job was too big for Radders, he should be doing what Cookie is now.

For me absolutely "Never" we need a REAL coach, some-one with a few years of experience. I have the up-most

respect for A.P. for what he is trying to do for my club, but i wonder what he sees in Judas, who as only just started

in coaching at Donny, i hope to god he never lets that man any-where near Hullfc.

i keep saying it but should we change the coach we need to bring in a head coach who should be allowed to bring in ALL his new staff. we need to cut ties with the existing staff and do things exactly how the new man wants - this goes for playing staff too

Why? Oh, yeah. Because they're not quite clever enough to realise being a RL player is only a short-term career and only about 1% of them stay with the same club 'til retirement.

Paul Cooke no thanks, he has hardy cut his teeth in coaching yet and he has far too much baggage.

Anyone around when we had Casey back as coach will remember what a raging success he was and I view Cookey in much the same way

i agree Doncar a proven coach is needed not some arrogant jumped up has been who sh&t on us big time let him go to Rovers in the future if he wants to coach in HULL,he is a Judas you are right people forgive to easy never grow up Doncar you are lovely as you are

If Cooke proved himself as a good coach after learning his trade and he made my club better through his coaching I couldn't give a to55 about the past, what's done is done. I would only be thinking of the progression of our team and hopeful improvement.
He is learning his trade and not making a bad fist of it so far but some people's bitterness just cloud their judgment.
Anyway it's all ifs buts and maybes but if Cooke could do the job and do it well not a problem for me.

Indeed. I believe it will happen one day, but for the sake of both parties when the time is right and the proper apprenticeship served. A few years off yet. Maybe he'll share his side of the cross-city transfer story in the meantime.
