| Hi folks .
As there seems to be a complete lack of transport being organised around this area for the W/C semi finals down at Wembley on the 23 rd November ,day returns on the trains are around £80-90 return .Is there sufficient numbers / interest for us to run a coach ?. Brief details would be -- a 6.00 am departure (1 st game is 1 pm ) and cost would be £35 (depending on numbers). ALL seat would be pre paid . Any one who are keen to travel ,please give me a call .
Tony 07917033949 or 667553 or The Buccaneer @ Brough 667435

| Looks like rlCumbriarl are having similar problems.

So extra trains cost them money. I suppose that might be true, so why do they run any trains at all?

another example of what clueless idiots are running the game.
What was wrong with Headingly?, KC?, Wigan? packed house's with good atmosphere!!
expecting people to travel to London.
How pathetic it will look with 15-20 thousand rattling around Wembley!
You just couldn't make it up! a joke!

Pretty sure they have sold at least double your figures, sure someone mentioned around 45k had been sold so far.

| The next time I visit Wembley it will be to see a Black & White captain lift the CC trophy.
I demand it in my lifetime.

Oh dear
That is the latest from the ticket website, the lower bowl being very close to seling out (which has a capacity of 34.3k) and the midde tier around half sold out (which has a capacity of 16.5k).
So, before taking into account tickets soldfor blocks not sold out, whether or not that picture is up to date and that there's around 6 weeks still to go, I think it's fair to say there'll be a few more than 20k there. Get involved.

| Adding to that, the last three World Cup's have seen combined semi-final attendances of:
1995 (UK): 46,500
2000 (UK): 24,000
2008 (Aus): 42,500
I'm pretty confident that the final sales at Wembley will smash that of 1995.

Still look lost in Wembley, atmosphere terrible. When are the RL going to realise no one in London is the slightest bit interested in RL and probably will never even know a RL world cup is taking place. just my opinion but would be far better off playing all the games local to where people are actually interested in the game to save them the ridiculous expense of travelling to the capital.

Like where?
In 2000 the semi's were played in the heartlands and got a measly 24k between them.

I reckon a large number of Aussies and Kiwis living and working in London would beg to differ. It was one of the reasons that it was decided to have it in London as NZ/Aus/Eng are expected to feature so as well as getting the general RL public to go watch they will also have the chance of enticing some of the EXPAT community to the game.
I am not an advocate of International RL but I think they have chosen the right venue for the Semi Finals.

Big time, not often it deserves to be said, but the RFL have got this one right.
The Four Nations games a couple of years ago attracted 40k+, so they've used that as an indicator as to the appetite for International RL in London, they've not just plonked it there & hoped for the best.
Verbal brings up a valid point in the cost of getting down there, that's fair enough, not every can afford to do so. BUT, there are 20-odd other games in or near the heartlands to go to, including three in our city.

| One poster said KC high profile game ??
Get a grip the people from hull have been well and truly snubbed with this World Cup. I think it's about time we have the Aussie back at the kc last time was a fantastic night packed out . They gives us a England game to try and make up for this but it's just a slap in the face for a well supported rugby city.
