it was dissapointing on the day and i know we didnt win but we were in the final 2 out of 90 i think and we did it the hard way with some very impressive wins along the way
WE ARE 2013 CHALLENGE CUP RUNNERS UP
and allthough we didnt win at least we can say we supported our home team in a final and to be honest we was still in with an outside chance till the end

You are right. We were the 2nd best of 95 teams. That is something to be proud of and an achievement.
Indeed, if we could have replicated our performance against Warrington, win or lose I would be much happier.

Probably worth more in hard cash than actually winning it. At least we won't be paying a cup winning bonus, although some of the squad should be paying us after yesterday |

Think too much is being made of our run to the final. Beating Wakefield isn't a huge achievement and ought be expected for a club with play off ambitions. Against Catalans we were the better of two very poor sides, leaving only the semi final that was a truly outstanding performance. The less said about yesterday, the better.
It's an achievement to contest a major final, but I don't think our route there was as difficult as some are making out.
