If you had to choose. Would you prefer for us to finally win at Wembley, on the 24th. Or England to win the world cup? Winning the World Cup will be better for the International game and the game overall in England. But if that worth loosing at Wembley again?

I'd take England winning the World Cup over Wigan winning the challenge cup. Wigan win titles fairly regularly, but when did England/GB last win a competition that the aussies were involved in? The World Cup in 1960? That would be truly special.

1972 when Sullivan was captain.
Lots of people have lost interest in international rugby and I don't blame them. |

Most RL fans don't really care about international rugby, some even boo England players who they don't like or don't like their clubs.
Personally I think it was better when we had GB rather than England RL.
England lose to the Aussies, sometimes beat the Kiwis and always beat Wales, France, PNG etc.
A GB team (which would have players like Brough) would have a better chance of beating the Aussies.
To answer the OP's question, Hull FC to win the cup at Wembley. its a no-brainer.

Tough one, however if it got RL on the map nationally in a way that garnered a greater good for the game ( better sponsorship,national recognition, more playing/involved, better media coverage) then I would sacrifice an FC win over England winning the World Cup.
However as I think our game is so far out of the general public consciousness and the media wouldn't give us that much in the way of recognition/coverage for the achievement in any case it is a moot point.
