@James_Smailes - Bad news from FC win is a torn bicep injury for Galea. Scans will show how bad, but at this time of year it could be season ending. Hope not.

I know he hasn't been brilliant for us but got to feel for the guy. Just starting to him some form & has had a good career, would be a shame to think that today was his last day playing.

Was patting the badge on his shirt at the end. Would be a shame to see him bow out through injury.

Sorry to see any player injured but Pitts offers a damn sight more than Galea...a bad signing all round imo.

Gutted for him if he is injured, but agree Pitts has been better for us this season. Offers a lot more.

Sad news for Galea to finish his career on an injury, was starting to hit a bit of form the past few games.

Pleased for Pitts though. I rate him highly and now is his chance to have some more game time.

Sounds bad - very disappointing if he has to finish on this note.

I hope he fully recovers , dont think he is a bad as some make out on here and you cant buy experience

Ben has done his part for us this year. Too many see his recent previous employer and let it cloud their judgement.

Don't really agree, McDonnell was at Rovers last year and he has been one of our best this season imo, whereas I think Galea has plodded and stifled our attack somewhat, I think he's just gone a year too many.

That said the effort is always there and his experience will have helped the youngsters. Always a shame when any player has to call it a day due to injury.

Great shame for a him to end it on an injury, fantastic player for us and will go down as one of our best imports.

Never seemed to work out that well for FC, maybe for a number of reasons, I always thought it was a season too many as his injury record with us was getting worse year on year. But I think the way FC set up attack never suited him. He used to run some fantastic lines for us and played off Dobsons shoulder very well,

I agree with that, but that said, I don't think we will miss him too much either

Sad way for Benny to end, been a fantastic RL player and it's shame he never got to see the season out.
