| Season's over anyway so doesn't make any difference. For every good game he's had he's had an average one and a poor one

| TBH, don't think you can blame DJ for bad performances when hes playing behind a beaten pack. In the games the forwards have stepped up and dominated he has played well. Hope the injury aint too bad.

So are you saying he's incapable of influencing a game due to his own ability then? If so then he's an ordinary halfback.

| Thurston and Cronk wouldn't be able to perform to their ability playing behind a beaten pack, never mind Holdsworth!

| Cannot imagine where we would be without DJ, he organises the team well and his kicking game is top class.... we'd probably be looking at a defeat against both Leeds and Warrington without him! so please give it a rest and think before speaking...

No halfback can single-handedly influence the outcome of a game if the forwards aren't performing.
A better measure of how good a player Holdsworth is would be the number of poor games he's had when our forwards have dominated.

| all half backs need the forwards to lay the platform first, at the moment out forwards are getting dominated by the opposition which in turn leads to the play the ball being painfully slow, once this happens the halves have little chance to create space for anyone, in a nutshell the fwds need to get on top of the opposition for us to see the best of Holdsworth and Miller

| Whether people rate him or not it's still just our luck for him to be sidelined again for another stint after already missing about six weeks earlier this year.
Looks like we'll be swapping and changing our playmakers again until seasons end.

The half backs play a big part in the forwards laying the platform though. If your halfs aren't organising and directing play then the forwards have no chance. I don't think Houghton's distribution out of dummy half helps either but I do think horne has been more effective than holdsworth overall this year

| Need Horne back ASAP,three facets of his game we are missing very badly are,his defense, taking the line on (Miller and Holdsworth are organising half's) and his support play, easily the best support player at the club

| Horne unlikely to play and still pretty doubtful for Catalan.
