Did anyone go today? I did and left when wigan hit 40 points. Wasn't very impressed and didn't see anyone who really looked like a potential SL player other than Cunningham, who went of with an ankle injury.

Didn't go today but that team is a really young team. Younger than most the teams in that league. Most will still be still under 19s next yr |

That's fair play to your boys then. Our 16s supposed to be were the expected talent is but I know little bout them. Hopefully true and they can get us up to your standards |

I went today for first time to check out the team. Thought first half we looked comfortable. 24 16 half time. Cunningham injured first few mins in 2nd half.
We then went to pieces. Referee absolutely caned us in penalty count.
Hardly saw the ball, Wigan had far better structure to their play.
Their No 7 must have being to the blake green school of selling dummies !.
Got to say I was very disappointed with our kids. Hopefully just an off day.

A lot of our 19's this is there first season at this level and some are still only 16.The club have done this on purpose so they can learn from there mistakes and become better players over the 3 years that they can play in a settled side. At the moment winning is good but its not always the result that matters.You don't get instant success with young players, people need to be patient. We are in a better position now than we have been for years with the 16's and 19's set up.Rome wasn't built in a day you know .

I like this thinking of keeping them together. A lot of change at that level usually. If they work to same structures as 1st team it can only be good. |
