Wrong game for Ellis imo. All the noises hes made in the press about his career being over etc hardly mean he's gonna go into the game all guns blazing does it. He'll go in to it gingerly afraid of agravating or doing the injury again and it'll be almost like playing with 12 men. IMO its better to save him for London when the pressures off

maybe would have been better if he got a full game in the cup this week, blow a bit of the cobwebs off but who knows hes the ultimate pro and he will give his all just be good to have him out there because it must feel better been alongside him when your playing wigan!!! GULP.

Ellis would never give less than 100%. He wouldn't play if he couldn't.

I spoke to Ellis when he was with the England lot, he's a top bloke and was definitely excited to pull on the black and white, if he's on the pitch he'll be playing his heart out and leading the team. If he wasn't capable of doing that he wouldn't play.

I despair of people like you - just relax mate - The guy has been playing in Australia for the last 3 years and certainly wont be fazed at playing Wigan. You obviously think Wigan are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Me I think they are the best of a poor bunch. In Gareth I trust.
