| For 2012, most on here wanted a 6th or higher finish, a decent cup run, and an all round improvement on and off the pitch for Hull.
Whilst I think the team delivered, inconsistency and stupid errors were our demise in most lost games.
So, what do you all expect for 2013?

| Top 4 finish.
Entertaining rugby.
Consistent performance being awarded with a shirt irrelevant of what your name is or how much your contract is worth.
To make the KC a fortress
To win a minimum of 2 play-off games.
A big push in the Challenge Cup (minimum semis, although I do understand it is the luck of the draw).

The two I've highlighted would, together, mean the Grand Final. I certainly wouldn't rule it out, but as an [iexpectation[/i maybe a tiny bit best case.
I reckon you'll make the top 5 (there's a case that 5th is more advantageous that 4th, with the way the quality drops at the lower end of the play-offs, anyway). Your home record was excellent in 2012, iirc, so maybe improving on the road would/will be what pushes you up the table.
With O'Meley, Tickle, Galea and Briscoe all off (or rumoured/assumed to be), plus, i presume, the ongoing search for a top 7, it should be another good year for rumours!

I'd agree with this, but I'd also add consistency (particularly away from home) there was still too many weeks last season where we either didn't turn up, or lost games we should have won. Although I appreciate the injuries/disruption to the squad didn't help matters.
Salford, Wakefield & Widnes away and Rovers at the Magic Weekend are 4 games we threw away last year by either not turning up or not turning a dominant performance in to a win.

| A platform to achieve sustainable success. This needs initial success to bring the crowds back, and then a renegotiation with the SMC. We cannot realistically go forward without a massively wealthy benefactor with the financial shackle we currently have.

| I expect nothing.
I hope for 5th and a trip to Wembley.
I can't wait for pre season. It's time.

I'll go with that too. No expectations but hoping for good rugby, some cricket scores in the "for" column, and a good period in August and September (perhaps even October)

| I expect us to continue improving under Gentle, so that's means a finish higher up the table.

I dont remember that happening last year, several players made their debuts and stayed in the side until injured, Lineham for instance.
I enjoyed the rugby we played, I just want to see more consistency.

| To build on last year and as chris 28 mentions , more in the "for" column would be nice.

| IMO we have the best squad since we have been in SL for this season and easily our best coach. Although SL is more even that is was a few years ago making it harder.
I think we will finish in the top 4 this year and hopefully have a bit of luck in the cup and get quite far.

| As well as the 17 with shirts on, we need to make sure that 11/12,000 in the stands are doing their bit. Encouragement goes a long way to improving performance/commitment and the more we shout and cheer, the better I believe our performances will be.
Can't wait for the new season so we can put this into practice.

I thought the atmosphere was better last season, but there is some way to go...at least fans are coming to games and feeling positive, rather than the sinking feeling of 'oh no, not again' of the Agar era!

| You should make top 4.
Wigan havent replaced like for like and Tomkins is a year closer to leaving.
Leeds are another year older (so what!)
Saints- second season syndrone at new stadium (cant see manu doing what he did for you)
Cats have a french coach, say no more.
Wire will be there or there abouts.
