So Prince & Chase have both been close but we haven't managed to pull them off.
Reminds me of when we nearly got Derek Fox all them years ago!!
Anyone got any good stories or memories of players the club very nearly got. I'm not talking about sculthorpe/Briers rumours that seemed to be year on year rumours.
We supposedly had Ali Lauatiti in the bag until Leeds sneak him from under our noses.

All these so called nearly signings use you as tools to get better deals at better clubs.
Wake up and smell the Coffee
Scott Prince is an absolute classic case.
Also your board has always announced these signings before they have signed, often at time of season pass sales  |

| In fact I remember so well the NEARLY signing of Deryk Fox. I went with my then Father in law to the Boulevard to watch Wigan trounce Hull and people were carrying buckets asking for donations from fans towards the signing. The signing never happened but im sure someone had a good time with the money  |

We can both talk forever about both clubs mis-managements, I cant be bothered.
But please open your eyes to the present rules of players who use clubs to broker better deals at other clubs and directors of clubs who use these time to boost pass sales. Its not just at your club. |
