| Realistic, we need good juniors to cover in key positions to truly challenge.

| Yes, no surprises there. It obviously wasn't going to be next year that we were in with a serious shout of winning the competition.

True, will be 3-4 years before we are consistantly able to challange the top 2-3 teams IMO. All the right noises from AP.

Both spot on, it's great to have some honesty coming out of the club, a far cry from the spin from the previous management, I'll take being somewhere near the top 4 for 2013 and 14 if it means we're bringing our players on through the ranks and topping them up with "hired guns" from elsewhere beyond that. As much as we will progress, so will Saints, Wigan, Warrington and L**ds.

Bang on the money.
Our juniors are not physically ready for regular SL, therefore we are lacking in competition for places.
AP needs to invest in a renowned Strength & Power Trainer, like Carl Jennings, also invest more in Sports science.
IMO,then we will see us continually challenging the top 4.

They had the youngsters.
Maguire took over a top 4 side and sign 3 top players from NRL.
Warrington haven't won sl.

| Anoywho thinks we can challenge and win trophie next year are just kidding themselves. We need to be top 4 next season and then push on. You only have to look at Warrington and the players they have had and how long it's taken them. The club needs a winning mentality and PG/AP are trying to bring that in.
I always thought it would take min 2 years.

| Always thought this would be a year of transition and next year we'd see a difference, even if not challenging

| AP was hardly going to come out and say we would be challenging for the double next year, 10+ new players will take time to gel.
But if we get a similar good start to how we did this season then who knows....

Im not an idiot and fully understand the predicament this club is in in that it was shafted for years in terms of developement and it will take time to rectify this. I also understand that generally you cant just buy success but to say that next year will also be a year of transition as well as this and many previously will leave the supporter who may be questioning whether to support the club or pull back a little in two minds now and once that happens Pearson will struggle to get those stayaways back. I class myslef as one of these tbh as i used to go to every home game and lots of aways but the Agar years have seriously put me off and whilst i still actively follow FC i now only go to a few games and watch them whenever theyre on Sky and tbh this season and statements like the one Pearson has just made do not make me think ill getting back on the horse in the immediate future.
