| Aspinwall, Briscoe, Crooks, Heremaia, Horne, Houghton, Kent, Lynch, Manu, Moa, O’Carroll, Pitts, Russell, Seymour, Tickle, Turner, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.
Heremaia and Kent in, Lyne and Ellis out.
Houghton retains place in squad despite the rumours that he's out for the next few weeks.

| Smailes has tweeted he should be in the squad.
Presumably Watts is close to signing and Houghton will drop out injured so Watts can come in.

| I would put Horne to Fullback as he'll be better under Briers' kicks than Russell would, and it also relieves his playmaking duties as he's been poor at that in his last 2 games.
If Houghton is definitely not gonna be playing, I'd have Heremaia starting at Hooker and Russell on the bench to spell him. Whiting at Stand-off.
If Houghton is available, then I would play Russell at Stand-off.
I would want Crooks to be playing outside of Yeaman for this game, as extra guidance to him. He'll be facing either Monaghan or Riley so I think he would benefit from the experience and composure that Yeaman should bring.
So either
Houghton fit:
Horne, Crooks, Yeaman, Turner, Briscoe, Russell, Seymour, Lynch, Houghton, Moa, Manu, Tickle, Whiting.
Subs: Heremaia, Aspinwall, O'Carroll, Pitts,
Or if Houghton is confirmed out:
Horne, Crooks, Yeaman, Turner, Briscoe, Whiting, Seymour, Lynch, Heremaia, Moa, Manu, Tickle, Pitts,
Subs: Russell, Aspinwall, O'Carroll, Westerman/Kent

| Houghton won't play, he's in so they can put Watts in when he signs.

| I'd play Horne at fullback. We will get murdered by Wire's kicking game with Russell there (I am afraid to say).
Can Russell play any other positions? He's shows great glimpses with ball in hand so he can definitely be an asset somewhere, just not at full back.

| I'd put him at 6 or spelling Heremaia. He's been one of our best players in attack and I think he could probably add a bit of flair add 6.
We need to play Horne at Fullback, I think.

| Horne should start at 6 and he could cover Heremaia with Westy playing 6.
