How he gets in the Knights squad is a mystery to me,is dummy half play is abysmal,never pulls the A & B markers in to release a forward coming into the gap, usually just runs across the defensive line and drops an inside pass,speed of passing is poor,he used be good as a scooter,when the opposition forwards were tired, he'd scoot from dummy half and gain some good metres,but even this has seemed to disappear from his game and his defence is garbage, invariably a forward will target him run over the top of him,gaining two or three metre's and get a quick play the ball,putting us on the back foot again,in the stats it might say he made the tackle,but in my eye's getting dominated and run over,a tackle it doesn't make,the kids not physically strong enough to be our main hooker,he might be ok coming of the bench for 15 min spells,but that's it.

I agree with Carlotti and the quicker Hereimia is on the field the better it will be for the team. Houghton on the bench coming on has a scooter.

I don't care if he has a Harley Davidson, coming on the pitch with a motorbike is just asking for trouble, and I don't even see what advantage it gives him anyway!

Hermeiria was in the clubhouse with Doyle at our last home game, it was there he told us that he was in full training and was down for the Wire game, he had a chat with a few of us and during that conversation he said "Danny is one of the most underated players in SL", I agree with him and as a hooker he certainly knows his stuff..

My opinion isn't based on a couple of games, I have held this opinion for a while. His passing game simply isn't good enough to be a top class hooker and he gets targeted and run over constantly in defence. He does however get us good yards when he occasionally runs/scoots from dummy half but like the previous poster said this part of his game seems to be disappearing, I think it's down to fatigue due to him playing 80 mins week in week out. Coming off the bench will benefit the team imo.

As for him being underrated, I would say his actually overrated but that's only my opinion and afterall that's what message boards are for.

I don't get this "80 minutes week in, week out" garbage, these are PAID PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES, and well paid at that, it's their JOB!

Your clearly watching a different game to me, he really does not get run over constantly in defense...He is actually the best defender in SL with the highest tackle count and I would argue this area is one of his strengths, he makes good meters and barring the last few games where he has favored the inside pass (which I believe he is following game plan) his passing is fine.
