As the title says.
Beginning of the season he looked the part imo but picked up plenty of injuries already that we knew he was prone to and hasn't played aswell as he did at first.
But can he cover the loss of O'Meley? Let's hope so eh.

| Been a very poor signing so far and has a lot to prove. Too small and too injury prone IMO.

| Rovers game aside, when he's been fit he's been good. Injuries are a big problem though.

Very poor is pretty harsh IMO. He's done ok and I expect he will get better with game time.

| He's been okay but nothing more (and nothing less). He runs at the line hard and despite being shorter than your average prop he still has bulk to him. He's had a few injuries but I think that if he can stay clear of those then he will improve and we could have a good player on our hands. His injury record is the most worrying thing for me.
He's fine as a 4th choice prop but I wouldn't want him as anything more.
Tbh, I think that Pitts has shown more potential than O'Carroll, but I'm not sure whether I prefer Pitts as a prop or looseforward (especially as we have Westerman and Whiting at loose)

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| Interesting statement from O'Carroll and I hope he backs it up on the pitch.
Injuries still seem to be a problem for him and we wont see the full ability of Eamon O'Carroll until he is able to string at least 6 games together back to back. That said the same applies to O'Meley this year!
What has happened to Josh Bowden? He was looking the real deal earlier in the season, has he been taken out of the firing line for a while or is he injured?

I think he's shown enough when he's fit to suggest he's got the makings of a very good prop. Problem is, he's never fit.

I agree. I just can't see him losing his injury proneness and the older his body gets the more prone it will become. His size reminds me of Paul Gallen but we never see enough of him to ever know if he will be half the player Gallen is.

bowden played for the u20s today, decent game from him today, one of if not our only forward who was able to make any decent ground against a much bigger and stronger wolves pack

| On a related note, Pitts looks a very good signing from what I've seen. Lynch, Moa/New signing, Pitts, O'Carroll and Bowden for next year? Or would you look to replace O'Meley as well (assuming he's off)?

I'd hope so. Not enough heavyweight grunt for me, don't really see Pitts as a prop.
