Every week there is about 10 different changes to the side from the previous week.

| Jack Humphries has come from Cott Tigers Under 18's - good player, trained against him for the open age a few times and you can tell he has some quality

The entire age isnt a joke. Some of the main 18's players have been playing 20's and doing a good job. Agree that some players aren't good enough. No team within the same age group should get beat by that score, especially academy clubs! That squad that got hammered are missing a lot of players. Then again I don't know if Leeds were missing a lot of players. The 18's really needs sorting out. I can name a fair few that aren't on the books at FC that can do a better job at that age.

I agree about the 1s that have stepped up like Wilko, Kingdom and Starling all doing well though.

I agree more needs to be done at Hull from ages 15+ because it seems when Hull snap up quality players, some can't progress at the club. West Hull, Skirlaugh, East's and other junior rugby teams always seem to do well in the Yorkshire leagues and National cups and then when FC sign the same players that were solid, you never hear of any of them! The question is why do other clubs get there youngsters to progress better? Do they have a different approach? Agree that Wilko, Kingdom, Wilson and Starling have done a good job for 20's when played. Don't look out of place at all.
There is some positive news in the academy/scholarship though. Hull FC have sent a kid called Harry Tyson Wilson to Oz to play down under and get some experience. Highly regarded at Hull and great prospect. Turned down union. Also in the sun newspaper.
"[iHull FC prospect Harry Tyson Wilson, 15, was invited to see the Leicester Tigers union set-up before his trip Down Under to play for the Wests Tigers nursery club. But Harry — who will turn out for the Under-18 side — says his future is in rugby league when he gets back home[/i."

Other sides having a massive catchment area cant be overlooked so the talent is spread between clubs unlike in Hull where at every age group there tends to be 2 elite sides who do really well in youth competitions because all the best players in the city are playing for them.
I have said it time and time again on here and got called disrespectful to players but we do sign far too many players on who are just there to make up the numbers.
We also tend to promote players to the 20's quite quickly which is good but it should be a case of leave them there instead of dropping them back into 18s at different weeks which has to cause disruption. The only player who is under age that has stuck with the 20's is Lewis Brown who is the best prospect we have in our system IMO and people forget how young he is.

IIRC Lewis Brown is overage and can't play for 18's. Great prospect though. It's Kingdom, Starling, Wilson, Cunningham and Wilkinson that are all under age and can still play 18's. All been playing regular 20's for the past few weeks, except a few with injuries.

I have been talking up Lewis Brown on here for a couple of seasons now. Good prospect. I was surprised to hear that Peter Gentle had thrown him out of his first team squad for attitude/disciplinary reasons. No idea if he has been integrated back into the squad yet.

There is some good player's at that age but also some that are average, who would you replace them with and why or do you mean out of town?
