To those that attended today how did he do today? I couldn't get there today.

He was thrown in at the deep-end but he'll be better for the experience from it, imo, and there's a good chance of him getting another game against Leeds depending upon the severity of Martin's injury.

I thought he handled it really well tbh. Made some good tackles.
It's unfortunate he's been given games when we've been up against so again we didn't get to see to much of his attacking play but generally didn't look out of place IMO.

Got a couple of shocking passes

McKinnons pass just before half time was beyond reasonable. Thankfully it didnt dent Crooks confidence too much

Then did the same pass after halftime and nearly put Crooks away.

Thought he really handled himself well tbh was always going to be a hard game for all the youngsters but he didn't really look out of place. It wasn't a game for him to be able to show his skill more of a game for him to stand up and put the hard work in.

Needs to bulk up alot, but will be a regular in a couple of years.

The one before half time was on the floor by the time it reached crooks. Suicide ball 2 minutes from half time

In all honesty I didn't think he looked that small. I thought he'd be in the Craig Hall mould but seemed far more robust.

Yeah they were awful passes, I know Wade was trying to create something out of nothing but they were suicidal. As someone else said it didn't knock his confidence.

I thought he went well , wouldn't think it was his first game . Considering the opposition and the players we had missing he was fine . Looks like he has something .

I know he's only 18/19 but his build imo is really small and looks lightweight. Needs to put the kilos on or he's just going to get knocked around.
Hopefully he'll end up like Watkins next season and come back twice the size.

Was impressive in defence but it was a shame given how slow our passing was and our game plan he never saw any early ball with the opportunity for him to do something with it.

Also agree regarding his size but given his age its not that much of a drama as it needs to be a slow process so he gets used to carrying more kgs

I have a very tall son- when he was 18/19 he had nothing on him - when he was 23 he was well bulkie - give the kid a break - look at his Dad and Uncle - O but you dont know who they are do you.
