| Another event exclusively for season ticket holders. Non holders clearly not worthy.

Alternatively, we could give all the tickets to Rovers fans.
If people are prepared to stump up money in advance for matches, they should get some benefits. Why should a person who may only attend one match get the chance to go to one of these events over a person who contributes more to the club?

Exactly! I know a lot of long attending fans can't afford/manage a season pass, but those that do should have some benefits IMHO.

Don't see the issue myself. Its what happens when you pay for something you may get an opportunity for an exclusive event. Bit like Car dealerships when they have a launch or promotion they invite their customers.
Seems the club are damned if they do and if they dont with these things.

| In order to firm up the dates why dont the Club just host it at your Centre of Elite Performance. Big wide open area so loads of space for all of your fans, season tickets or not. Hull hosted some great events up at Brantingham.

What is Stalinist about it?
I suppose you'll be giving up your Boots Advantage card. After all, why be a member of a club when some non-members don't get the benefits you do.
If you had a club that people were members of, would you hand out benefits to non-members? The members might become unhappy and stop being members if there's no benefits for them stumping up in advance.

| Sorry, but season passholders are the lifeblood of the club and I see no reason at all to complain about them being rewarded for their loyalty by getting these sorts of benefits. As far as I know the club have put many signings on at the retail outlets over the past month that anyone can attend, plus open training sessions, so there can be no suggestion the players are not accessible to all fans. This is simply an extra benefit to reward those committing to the club for the next season.

I was not concerned with how the club has arranged this - I appreciate that we have 10000? season pass-holders and although not all will attend it is the only way it can be done. I was more concerned with your reply - You infer that as a season passholder you are a better supporter. A non passholder who attends all home games puts more into the pot than you do if I am not mistaken.

Indeed. Like the passholders family BBQ, you mean?
It might be snowing. I think even the stoopidest troll would realise the KC is a more appropriate venue for a January event for a few hundred supporters like this? Maybe not.

Correct on the last point but I was in no way inferring anything about anyone being a "better supporter". We've had that discussion over and over and Wilf is the better supporter anyway
My point has been made much more eloquently by others, but the point stands. Mr Smith goes to one match and pays £23. Mr Bloggs buys a pass and pays £200+. Why should Mr Smith get the same access to a club "benefit" as Mr Bloggs when he's only paid around a tenth of the amount to the club? Not to mention Mr Jones

BBQ's, 9's event etc. Hull hosted them well at Brantingham. There is plenty of indoor space for a few hundred people at the Elite Performance Centre.
Dont judge everybody by your standards.

Indeed - for passholders and people paying on the gate respectively. Not always a good idea to charge to see players in a non-playing capacity. Reminiscent of the times of charging a fiver to see SL's biggest ever signing train. Only about 10 people turned up for that, IIRC. Oops.

Sorry, was unaware of the function suite space available there. Sounds blooming fantastic. Good to see a development can be executed so quickly though without lots of slipped deadlines.

Ooh, hark at her. Merry Christmas
