| Having seen this on the Wire and Wigan boards, thought i would see what kind of nightmare overseas 17 we could put together. Having only supported since 1990 or so my choices are limited!
1. Ben Sammut - awful under the high ball, had a nightmare at Knowsley Road one match I can remember
2. Fili Seru - fat, lazy winger - typical of our recruitment under Peter Walsh
3. David Baildon - not a bad player, biscuit bones though
4. Damian McGarry - first player i didnt like when i started watching Hull as a kid, although its probably beacause i thought his name was weird at the time!
5. Ian Herron - Injured taking a conversion infront of Threepenny (he could only kick) Carney came in and didnt see him again
6. David Webber - great tackler, awful with the ball
7. Peter Wheeler - Couldnt think of another 7 - Could have been Head or Dykes but they showed quality amongst the injuries
8. Hitro Okesene - awful
9. Andrew Purcell - Peter Walsh signing, probably swayed my judgement on him
10. Hutch Maiava - awful
11. Paul McNicholas - The Huntsman!! massive with no bite
12. Sione Faumauina - looked the part for the Warriors, think the signing of him was wrong, and we dropped Brough to play him at Warrington away IIRC
13.
14. Jason Temu - Poor player
15. Glen Tomlinson - again, not a bad player, but got injured away at Saints (same game Baildon scored a cracker) and didnt see him again.
16. Scott Gale - Dont remember him having a good game. Though Henjak was much better
17.
Struggling now........

| Shane Endacott, Dave Moffat weren't the best.
Oh and I'd have Brad Hepi as captain.

1. Ben Sammut - Was about 20 times better than Jamie Smith who we had the year before
3. David Baildon - Like poo off a stick, just a bit of a pi$$ head
9. Andrew Purcell - Argueably one of the best players at the club in that awful season. Was sad to see him leave (cas I think)
14. Jason Temu - Voted hardest tackler in super league year before we signed him. I was personnally gutted when he decided to leave, was an animal

I didnt mind Brad Hepi. His defence was outstanding the day we won the league at Huddersfield, and anyone who has a song sang to him by the fans cant be that bad! HEPI HEPI HEPI!

Yeah Jamie Smith was awful, did we sign him from Workington??
We got Logan Campbell from Workington who was a pretty decent player too.
Temu is only remembered for his hit on Darren Rogers at Salford, dont think anyone has seen Rogers since!

| FB is a hard position TBF, out of all our overseas FB's are would say it would either be Sammut or Byrne.
Samutt
Heron
Endacott
Ronson
Seru
Webber
Henjak
Spring
Can't think of a bad hooker TBH, Purtell was maybe the worst I have seen.
Hutch
Lauaki
Mcnicolas (maybe a bit harsh there)
David
Backrow is hard can't think of too many bad overseas players we have had there.
Plenty of English ones though

He was only tall though, no real girth. Personally I think its easier to tackle someone tall and thin as opposed to short and fat.
He put effort in just never broke a tackle

but his game was as a stopper not a runner, and thats what he did very well... but your right easier to tackle a racing snake than a tank

We sure did, he had a season at paramatta first.
He was bigged up by walsh as a star of the future.
Think he's the only fullback in living memory never to catch a ball. The modern day FC fan who likes to boo there own team when they make mistakes (Tony,Sharp,Hall style) would have loved this guy.
