Were either on the lap of honour? I know for certain Agar wasn't. No class, good riddance.

In his defence maybe he was letting the players get the reception.

I'm far from a fan of his but he couldn't really win on this one.

I couldn't disagree more, if he had anything about him he'd have shown his face. Nobody hates him, he needed to rise above it.

Can't blame the bloke really. He's hardly been embraced by the fans and why risk a load of abuse that would spoil the players send off.

With the memory of several hundred/thousand people chanting for my departure, I think I'd struggle to go round too.

We hardly had an Agar out chant in nearly 4 years, does anyone believe he'd have got abuse? He's gone now, everybody's happy and most on here are wishing him well. I just thought it lacked a bit of class to not show his face at all.

As for Long? Well, it's just disrespectful imo.

Agar would have gotten boo'd. Still people are harping on about him on the radio etc, just boring now.

Agar hasn't been the most popular of coaches has he. I probably wouldn't have bothered either. Long could have turned up though.
