| All non televised home games to be on a Sunday next season.
Quote: We put the survey out last week and it has become clear there is an overwhelming desire to have Sunday rugby back at the KC Stadium,” he said.
“The gates have been disappointing over the last year or so and we have to look at a number of things to get them back up to where we want them to be and where they should be.
“Whenever we are not televised next season we will be playing Sunday at 3pm and we will see if that can make a difference.”

| Gutted. IMO Friday nights are a far better atmosphere and leave weekends free. Plus you always have a 5 day turnaround against Leeds, Saints, Wigan away. I'd like to see the percentages - if it is "overwhelming", fair enough. Carvery option is interesting - good idea to try.

| I enjoy Friday night rugby and the fall in attendances is not due to us playing on Fridays.
The short turnaround in games against some top sides is a worry.
On the plus side I'll get to see more televised Friday matches rathe than miss them due to being at the KC.
Seems a quick decison given the survey only went out at the end of last week.

2007 was our highest average, 2010 our second highest in sl.

We all know what to do to get the attendences up.

| Think I prefer Fridays, but the move to Sunday means I can take wife & child to more games without any difficulty. I disagree that Friday night atmospheres are any better then they were on Sunday's, but I suppose it should be factored in that our 3 year run of Friday rugby has coincided with Agar's legacy of turgid rugby.

Didn't we have two near sell out derbies on 07? That could skew the figures marginally.

Nigel Pearson was mincing about all the messing about that happens with the pitch in the hours before home games. They have closed that excuse off now for the most part

| Fantastic. At long last sense has prevailed. I said on here a few months ago that Sunday was far better commercially just it was never explored. The park in the summer is a big attraction. There is a massive amount of land which can accommodate stalls beer tents and food bars.
The SMC make jack from add ons on a Friday night so they will be pleased. This decision and what AP appears to want to do is make Sundays the family day out. No more do I have to listen to JR saying that we now can all have a family trip to the seaside etc on Sundays. I and clearly many others want a traditional family day at the rugby, except unlike when I was a kid it will be in dry weather and in a decent stadium. We might also get a few away fans to create this mysterious atmosphere that people bleat on about but is lacking. We might also get a sell out derby.
What a great way to start the working week.

| TBH I dont mind the change back to Sundays and that in itself wont make a difference in me renewing my pass. The main issue with me about renewing as with many others is the coaching situation for next season.
If Pearson wants to get the fans back then he needs to bring in a Coach that has the credentials to move us forward on the pitch. This is the biggest area of disappointment for our club and as a fan I am fed up of all the constant excuses since McRae left as to why we fail time and time again to challenge for honours.
My only hope is that Pearson is serious and will listen to the fans as to the reason many have drifted away and holding out on renewing and act to get them back onside.
So far he does seem to be listening and being level headed about it all not just knee jerking.

| As an adult with no small children, I much prefer Friday nights. Saying that I fully understand the reasoning anyone with younger children prefers Sundays and we may get more away support on Sundays.
Is the survey closed now then?
