| Obviously depending on how many years you have been watching our great club I was just wondering who people thought in there opinion was our greatest coach and our greatest player where?

59480_1303992372.jpg Hull FC and Hull Stingrays are the only significant teams in Hull.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_59480.jpg |

| As i'm only 18 i've only witnessed our super league era, In which id have to say Swain and Kearney are the stand outs for me. Although Jason Smith has given me some unforgetable moments. From watching my Dads old Dvd's though i'd say that Gary Kemble was definitely a player i'd of loved to have seen play.

| Greatest Hull Coach - Roy Francis, made a team out of virtually nothing with hardly any budget unlike Bunting who despite getting the cream still only managed 1 championship & 1 challenge cup of the major trophies.
Greatest player is very difficult, is it based on individual skill or influence on the team & its success as a whole?
I'd go for Topliss for skill factor & Johnny Whiteley for overall great & influence.

you do know how few games Sterlo played for us?
Topliss, no doubt in my mind.

| Sterling may have only played 36 games for us but he was the greatest player I saw in a Hull shirt. Knocker would be a very close second.
Bunting was a tremendous coach although he was blessed to be able to sign the likes of these two and the Kiwis. Brian Smith took us to the top of the league with very much a workman like side.

| Just missed out on the glory days of the early/mid 80's and starting going in the days of coach Len Casey!!!
Best player Jason Smith.
Best Coach Brian Smith.
The fact that I would have John Kear down as the 2nd best coach since supporting the club, shows the lack of great coaches we have had in the last 25 years.

| Don't care how many games Peter Sterling played anybody who watched him would have seen what a fantastic player he was, he changed games on his own. So for me it has to be be him.
For the coach I will go for Brian Smith because although he never won anything at Hull he turned some very average players at the time into good players.

| I've only been going since 03, but I would go:
Swain
Bomber, for the style of rugby, and the massive win against Salford that really made my mind up that it was worth going to Rugby!
