What an exciting signing.
Every time he had the ball, he drew a third of the defensive line and still came out fighting.
Long kicking to his wing with Whiting on the inside, we could do some serious damage this year.

Give him another couple of games to get match-fit and he will be a great strike force. I was amazed that HKR seemingly had no answer to Long's kicks to the right. Gleeson will draw defenders, no matter what the play is. Given that it's his first game for seven weeks, his stamina may be down but he doesn't seem to have lost his strength

It was just after he took a big hit and he was clutching his chest so possibly a combination of the hit and lack of match fitness. Great debut for Gleeson and we look so much better down that side now. |
