| Thanks for your email to tellus. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds on Season Passes once the season is underway. I am sorry to hear that you feel the team is sub standard, although in a tough run where we are finding wins a rare commodity we feel the squad is strong enough to punch through this period and still achieve throughout the rest of the season.
On your point about customer focus, I feel that we do try to listen to our fans, we have maintained strong communication links with our fanbase across recent years and have tried to make changes in areas where we have been shown to be lacking.
The tellus email you have used, fans forums and Call a Director have all come about from consultation from fans and fans groups and given people a chance to have their views aired and responded to if appropriate.
We all hope to win more games this season than we have done recently, and we at the club share your desire to see us perform and do well this year.

just to add, it cam from Tony Sutton, not James Rule, I have replied:
I don’t feel you are listening to the fans, otherwise Richard Agar would no longer be employed by the club, he’s a good assistant coach but is totally out of his depth as a head coach, and that has been evident for many months now. Do you honestly feel the club are succeeding, do you remember it being unviable to open the Circle restaurant because of lack of interest at any other point in our history at the KC?
Did you (I don’t mean you personally, I mean the club) consult the fans before you patronised us before the last game by getting the “announcer” to try and lead us in a sing along that was simply cringeworthy?
I await the next fans forum with interest, I just hope whoever comes has their flack jacket on, the fans are not happy, James’ article in the Mail on Monday was the final straw for some, the Castleford attendance will struggle above 10,000, I hope that will remind the board that the club belongs, ultimately, to it’s fans.

Quote: "Dear Paul,
Thank you for taking the time to contact tellus with your email.
I fully appreciate the frustrations that have led you to contact the club via ‘Tell us’. The start to the season has been disappointing and you are perfectly entitled to your frustrations. I share your frustrations as do the coaches and the players and they are all aware that our recent performance against Wakefield fell below the standards that we all expect at Hull FC. The players have been quick to make that statement publically and you can see in the attached interview with Lee Radford and or by clicking onto this link on Hullfctv

| My p!$$ is well and truly boiled now.
Cant the club see that it has never ever been futher removed from its fans
Standee nailed it when he said the club belongs to the fans, about time we made the current lot know that and ram it down their throat at any opportunity

To be fair though, it never drops below a lively simmer when it comes to the board.
The reply from Sutton is the kind of stock answer I expected everyone to get TBH. The longer piece from Rule is more interesting and leads me to believe that the BOD actually do believe that Agar is a good coach and everything will come right in the end. Problem is that no matter how good he might be in coaching sessions (and DDD seems to back up the opinion that he is) he just isn't producing the goods on the pitch where it counts.

Agree, coaches/managers in sport are judged by results, they live and die by success.

Rule just copied and pasted the garbage he spouted in the HDM.

There's a chunk in the middle that's a c&p job but the rest seems new(ish). I don't doubt that a few emails might get the same response regardless of the detail.
I'm just getting the feeling that the support for Agar from the BOD is based on a genuine belief in his ability, no matter how misguided the rest of us might feel that to be. Which will make it that much harder to shift him.

| I received a very similar response from Tony Sutton.
Unfortunately my son has already decided for us that we've had enough and have better things to do. It's a real shame because we used to enjoy it so much. I would be kicking off at wasting over 250 quid on season passes but I've had the support bored out of me by R. Agar.
Hull FC might have taken my money this year but they won't see it again anytime soon.

| Quote: James Rule "Whilst wins and losses are the ultimate barometer of a teams success, performance also has to be a key factor when assessing the progression of a team. Undoubtedly some performances this year have been significantly below the standard that we expect and that Rich and his fellow coaches expect. Having said that the quality of training and preparation that is evident to anybody who attends Brantingham Park and watches the weekly sessions is of the highest standard. That training facilitated the outstanding performance at Wigan...'"
This is what really annoys me. I'm fed up of hearing how great we are in training and how great we were against Wigan. A real top 4 side would have killed that game off. We lost to a side reduced to 12 men and it's being held up as an example of why Agar [ishouldn't[/i lose his job.

| Any of those could be from the Expro if it wasn't for the fact they are well written and don't include schoolyard insults.
Fair play that they've started knocking out a few personalised replies, but it shows how deluded they've become if they seriously think they are going to persuade anyone that Agar is still there because they truly still believe he's the man to lead us to the top.

That's the sort of message that ICM should be passing back to the club. If they see more and more people stating that they won't renew etc, they'll have to do something.
