| Although I am personally disapointed at losing yesterday at Wigan I would just like to ask the whingers, especially Gary Brindley, how many time HULL RLFC have won at Wigan over the last 50 years. ???

| I go back a long way with Hull fans.
My first Challenge Cup final was 1959 when Wigan beat Hull and I was 10 years of age. I remember being stood next to Hull supporters ( no need for segregation) and a young Hull boy crying at the defeat. That memory has always been with me as I felt sorry for him.
You as a club have had some bad press, but we've always been made welcome, even in such notable establishments as Raynors and St. Andrews. (was Raynors real name Star and Garter?)
Good luck for the rest of the season, come and have a chat in the Brickmakers when we come over.

In the modern era with exactly the same resources available their is no reason why our poor record there should make a difference.

I know that - and by the way I predicted us to win yesterday (bloody amazing I know and so doubly disappointing for me) I was at Central Park when we had our greatest victory -year escapes me - Gary Pearce, Craig Coleman etc but we just dont seem to do it against Wigan no matter how good or bad they are - if only we could.

| amazing stats, even the great teams of the early 80s only managed one league win there (i know they were relegated at some point in the early 80s, but think it was only for one season)

| The Pies were relegated 1979-80, but they still beat us at home, even though we went on to finish third in the league that season.
I'll have a look later today, but I can't remember us winning a cup tie at Wigan.

| Ive seen Hull win there 4 times.
Twice at CP, One where Coleman played and was outstanding late 80's.
One where we won by a point, Robinson made his debut and scored the first try.
Twice at their new stadium, Horne scored the winner and the was an easy win when they where struggling under Millward.
The other game I remeber was when jason Smith snatched us a draw.

| In Play Off and Cup games since 1894-5
We have never beaten Wigan on their own ground in 8 attempts.
On neutral grounds for play off and cup games we have beaten them twice in 7 attempts, the last time was in a Challenge Cup semi final in 1922-3. The only other time was a Challenge Cup semi final in 1921-22.
Overall, two wins from fifteen attempts. Not the best, really.

Think I went to that game. One of my first away games. Remember having to dust cobwebs of the seats (we were upgraded to best stand for free).
Does anyone remember the try scorers? I seem to remember Jimmy L getting a couple, but he didn't sign for us until the season after did he

| If people go to these places with the attitude of "just to compete" then your already beat imo.
