I was trying to think of a scientific way to make an educated guess about it and all I could come up with was....

2009 when we were playing awful this game got just over 10000, going by the reduced number of season passes and the poor attendance for the Leeds game multiplied by the current "economic climate" I think this could be the first sub 10k crowd for a long time.

Approx how many season passes have we sold this year btw??? I can't see us selling over 500 tickets on top of that which makes my guess?????? Help please

The way we have been performing I think we're lucky to get over 9,500. I wonder if the club will be giving out any freebies. I remember they used to give out tickets for free to rugby clubs and schools in Hull, especially against teams like crusaders and quins.

They announced 8,000 season ticket sales just after New Year and AFAIA there's been no further updates.

As for Friday unless the club comes up with an amazing offer or they give a few hundred away to schools then I doubt there'll be over 10,000 there.

I thought I read on here that the club are running a promotion, tbf they usually do for this fixture and the Quins & Cats games, so we may get over 10k, just mind
