It's an interesting debate about the Agar out banners really.

As fans (myself included) we tend to look down on other fans who are critical in certain situations. I was sat there today thinking how embaressing that banner was when we were supposed to be showing our support for the players. The Agar out chant started after the first try and again I thought how bad it was. Then when I actually thought about it I started trying to think how frustrated those fans must feel to be willing to make themselves a target for abuse and mockery from other FC fans just to get their point across, a point most fans seem to agree with by the way. It's similar to those fans forums at the KC when everyone on here thinks its a love in for the club, the problem is that even though fans might agree with certain complaints they feel compelled to defend their club if anyone says something. The very few times someone has been critical at one of those events, everyone seems to give them the evil eye and tut and start muttering about "true fans" etc.

It's an inbuilt reaction for most of us to condemn these sort of protests but we'd happily accept the results if gets rid of Agar. I'll be very honest and say now that I'm hypocritical in this area as I'll look down from my high horse at those protesting at games but if gets the desired result I'll be more than happy.

Well at least you stood up for what you believe in, the board just love the die hard fans that complain on message boards but dont actually do anything else, sending them home unhappy after watching yet another 5 drive and a poor kick game while raking in the money.

Hull Fc the only team yet to win.

Good on you, instead of whinging on here or signing petitions you stood up and did what you believed in eusa_clap.gif

What amazes me is the same people who are calling for Agar's head are slating a fan for displaying an Agar Out poster icon_rolleyes.gif

the way i see it, if thee people with the banners want agar out, then they have every right to voice their opinions.

they pay their hard earned cash, the club say we're the "18th man", so we're allowed to voice our opinion.

the fans showing up shows that they're still behind the team.

I've said all along you can chant hold banners and whatever the only time the board will listen to the fans is if they stop going. Which is exactly why im not going, its the only way the board will get the message.

There are ways and means and abusing fans and players is not the right way by any stretch of the imagination.

Stand in West Park on Friday night with a petition and you will get a much greater response

Exactly, i agree, anyone who really cares about our club, who really wants change, who wants some success and can see how far we are slipping behind the rest, i urge you to vote with your feet and wallets and not turn out on Friday night, its a small price to pay, to miss one game, its the only way they will sit up and take note, thousands of empty seats. stay at home, boycott Friday night!!

What about the passholders who've already paid? How will their absence affect the club?
