love the fair and will be taking my daughter this year for the sights and sounds.

Took my daughter last night and got through over 50.00 in less the 2 hours - she enjoyed it so money well spent. Plenty of fuelled up idiots, though.
Oh, and after 15 years of trying I've finally accepted my dart skills will never win a prize.

We're doing the same today (coming over from the West Riding specially). 2 kids, so a big expense, but they absolutely love it. Food's better over the years as well, last year could get fajitas and a proper espresso.  |

Fajitas and an expresso? It'll be prawn sandwiches next........ At Hull fair you should have a greasy bob carvers, can of pop and a dodgy toffee apple for afters.
I went to the fair last night, I remember it being magical as a kid, just found it dirty and full of drunken chavs. Is this a new thing or do you just not notice them when you're a kid.

I took the daughter to the fair few weeks back & she was nagging for 1 of them story goes....

The espresso was a bit disappointing TBH. Ended up having a hot dog which was not nice. But still, a chocolate fountain, proper skewer kebabs on a charcoal pit, plus Whitby scampi - that's progress surely?  |
