on the way to brid in the village of beeford there is a small chippy. its on the right hand side at the crossroads in the centre. for a few weeks now the owner has written the words 'Human Rights Protest' in big letters in his window. anyone know anything about this as its bugging me - thought it might be linked to the nearby windfarm development but might be related to an issue in the village

my guess is that its something to do with the fact that the Tiger Inn opposite has started to sell fish and chips to take away. I may be wrong but thats what I reckon.

if its the same chippy i'm thinking of, we went in a year or so ago and it wasn't great, chips were very greasy, and the fish tasted like it had been there an hour. |

looks like a lucky escape in so far as i didnt have to buy any fish and chips from there - anyways brandesburton is the best chippy in those parts

Then why was the thread on Prescott locked? He has something to do with the CITY OF KINGSTON UPON HULL, not just because he lumbers a club with his presence. Then again a guy who runs a Fish + Chip Shop (albeit badly) is far more use than Prescott ever was or will be.
