Well I'll be the first to say that whilst its not the end of the world I'd rather we spent the money more wisely.

I agree. IMO we are some way short of being genuine challenger's for honours if we keep re-signing every current player how are we meant to bridge that gap? there will be no room on the salary cap surely.

I dont see the pack as being "some way short" IMO we need a lot better back line creativity wise.

the 10 years service will of been broken from when he was as bulls,i believe the club are trying to sort something out for him with the rfl,maybe a 3-6 month one,cos he wont get a year one.

No problem with this. He's looked much better this season, and fitter too.

Lee has been a good servant and has stood tall when other so called stars were failing us badly over the last couple of seasons , he is a solid fearless warrior that would walk into most SL clubs , he has his faults as all players do but his hard work for the cause can never be questioned..

Really disagree with the highlighted bit. Which clubs would he walk into?

What people forget all the time is that not every prop in a squad is a Barry Mac / Anderson blockbusting runner with a ball and all balanced squads need the ying and yang of a great hitter or two as well, Lee maybe does not make 60 yd bursts but he does stop a lot of opposition doing so though!!
He is regarded throughout the playing rostas of SL as "a player best to avoid when taking the ball up"
If Lee were to say he was leaving there would be a number of clubs asking for his favour I assure you , and thats based upon the number of enquiries made about his contract recently from SL clubs outside Hull, not message board speculation!!
