Cup run would have painted over the cracks.
Would then have gone back into 2008 mode, resting players only bringing out the perfomances for the cup
Well now its time for certain players to stand up to be counted, prove they can do what they are being paid for
And for the coaching staff to show some balls and play them who are on form, not just pick the team on names and reputations.
Going out gives us an easier May now due the the 2 long away games, time to freshen up some players

have to be honest that I find myself disinterested in the rest of the season already...we'll plod along, maybe scrape into the 8, and lose our playoff game.
we'll then sign some aging superstar, the PR will go into overdrive, the 9k+ will go and buy there passes again...and the cycle starts all over again.
in sport you want excitement and unpredictably, this plodding about in mid-table is just plain dull. And the clubs lack of ambition means nothing will change as long as the money is coming in.

I don't understand why Moa wasn't picked today. He caused Leeds real problems last week. Radders, Dowes and Cusack should not be in the same 17 imo. |

I agree, but sadly the mounting injuries will be the saving of Agar again. Calderwood, Long, Berro out for weeks, Yeamo broken his leg, Tickle, O'Meley, Radders all injured during the game. Despite the fact that we're not good enough, the injuries will provide a useful excuse-a-thon. |

If this is a blessing in disguise how come before the game you weren't hoping for a leeds win?
Is that because if hull won this game everything would be ok?
How can you base so much opinion on one game?
If it's based on more than just this game then losing is what not a blessing in disguise.
